I am a full on rom-com romantic. So much so, I believed planning my wedding was going to be a super fun montage set to the song Friday I'm in Love ending in a big fairytale wedding. Whimsically smelling beautiful flowers, trying on poofy white dresses, and tasting cakes with my fiance... You already know, that is so not how it went. Planning a wedding takes over your life. Every conversation becomes about who's on the guest list, what color will the wedding party wear, making yet another vendor appointment. Then someone who means well asks how wedding planning is going and all you're thinking is you can't wait for it to be over. What if I told you it doesn't have to be that way?
