The Couple
There are some couples that I have an instant connection with. Britnee & Cole were one of those couples. It may have been because they are both firefighters, like my husband. Or it was because they were two incredibly fun, confident people – basically everything I hope for in a couple. Their black & white wedding was elegant, modern, timeless, and full of BADDIE-tude!
Black & White Fits
Britnee & Cole’s leather and lace aesthetic gave all of the softness you expect from a wedding with a touch of edge serving serious heat. The bride wore a long sleeve white lace dress while the groom wore a custom lined tux jacket. The wedding party understood the assignment. The bridesmaids wore black floor length gowns and leather jackets; the groomsmen in a black on black tux look.
First Look
I was not prepared for all the water works during their first look with each other. I mean me. They stepped up their first look by exchanging their vows right then and there. It was almost like their own secret little elopement before the guests arrived. Britnee & Cole two are an outgoing, live out loud kind of couple in the best way. But when it was just the two of them in this moment, their love was quiet and gentle.
Black & White Details
The black & white theme carried into all of the details. White roses and eucalyptus extended from ceremony to reception. White taper candle lit the guest tables. Black & white cookies dressed the dessert station. Even the signature cocktails, named after their dogs featured Moose, their (you guessed it!) black & white fur baby.
Time to Party
Britnee & Cole were totally in their element at their reception. They entered to Lil Wayne “Fireman” with red and white flashing lights and their wedding party throwing dollar bills around them. For dessert, they skipped the traditional tiered cake, and opted for a selection of donuts, mini cupcakes, cookies, chocolate chip cannolis, and bite sized tiramisu. Britnee snuck off to change into a second dress. A sleek, sexy, white dress perfect for dancing and going wild. The dance floor stayed lit all the way up to a sparkler send off.
From first look to last dance, Britnee & Cole made their wedding their own by adding their attitude and natural spark to a classic white wedding. To bring you timeless wedding vision into the 21st century like Britnee and Cole did with their black & white wedding, remember to add your personalities, make it you, and have some freaking fun!
