Oxford Exchange
Oxford Exchange is one of the best brunch spots in the country. When Abby & Juan told me they booked their wedding there, I was beyond excited! If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting, OE is a book store, restaurant, candle making shop, champagne bar, & more. The checkered floor and dark wood gives off a dark European vibe that feels cozy to everyone who enters. When the sun sets, it becomes the perfect atmosphere for a romantic old academia wedding.

Classic Vibes
Abby & Juan took inspiration from the black & white floors and European architecture and kept their wedding classic. The bride wore lace, the groom wore a tux, and white and blue flowers filled the building with an intoxicating scent. Abby & Juan, sticking with tradition, saved their first look for the aisle. Don’t take their refined style to think they’re stiff. Abby & Juan know how to throw a party. La Hora Loca included.

The Conservatory
The ceremony & dinner both took place in the conservatory. A room flip like this usually makes me nervous since we’re limited on time but the staff at Oxford Exchange makes everything so smooth and easy. The tables were set with candles and champagne in just minutes. All the while the guests mingled in the Atrium.

Old Academia Cocktail Hour
Cocktail Hour was held in the Atrium which is the main hall of Oxford Exchange. It is the space that gives it the perfect old academia wedding feels. You can feel the intimacy through the photos of Abby & Juan. They were so sweet to watch interacting during their photos, even the moments where the posed photos went wrong, they laughed and whispered sweetly into each others ear taking in every moment together.

Party in the Atrium
Abby & Juan kicked off their reception with high energy music to get people pumped! We brought out light up elements, noise makers, hats and tiaras for the guests to have fun with. The dance floor started and stayed lit all way to the very end of the night. When the clock struck twelve, all of Abby & Juan’s guests lined the hallway and celebrated Abby & Juan with a pound of confetti. They underestimated how much steamer confetti came in the poppers they provided and left the building covered head to toe in streamers.
